We are offering the majority of our classes at the temporary Emmittsburg location. Outdoor classes will resume at the Home Base & Hearts Home locations Spring 2025. Stay tuned for our more information.
POLICIES UPDATED AS OF JANUARY 1, 2025 - PLEASE READ
Inclement Weather Policy: Snow, heat, or other potentially hazardous weather or emergency situations may necessitate cancellations. Students should use their best judgment regarding their safety and travel arrangements. Reasonable effort will be made by MSquared staff to notify class members regarding any cancellation. If in doubt, please email or text Melinda.
Classes that are canceled due to weather and/or emergencies will be added to the end of the session or rescheduled to another date.
NEW: We no longer have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Students are responsible for attending all classes; no makes ups given if you miss class. Special arrangements may be considered for specific circumstances. This includes specialty classes, groups, privates and workshops. Private lessons - Exception- my be rescheduled IF a minimum 24 hour notice. If you have reserved a spot in a workshop and cancel or do not show up and or if you have not paid but have a spot reserved, you will still owe payment for that reservation. Only exception for a workshop is IF we can fill your spot you may be refunded.
NEW: For regular students in order to hold your class spot: when your credit balance drops to 1, there will be an automatic renewal 24 hours following the low credit balance. Students must be prepaid before the start of attending any classes/workshops or private lessons. We will no longer be carrying balances. The Fons app sends reminders when your balance is low. Please check your spam folder for the notices.
NEW: If you are giving up your regular class spot please notify MSquared at minimum of 48 hours in advance of using your last credit or whenever you decide you are stopping classes. If you do not use up your class credits, any credits left unused after 2 absences without communication to M Squared will be forfeited.
Pre-Paid packages (group & privates) must be scheduled/used within 90 days from date of purchase; No refunds.
Pre-Paid package credits may be used for privates, group classes or combined to equal the value of a private lesson - approval from MSquared must be granted first within the 24 Hour policy.
Students are responsible for reading all email correspondence from MSquared and or our Fons.com System - please be sure you are signing up for the correct classes and make note of the location!
If class is canceled due to weather or other, MSquared Staff will do their best to notify all students at least 2 hours in advance. Make-up Classes will be added to the end of the Session (or rescheduled to another date) if canceled by MSquared.
New Student Intro Lessons are a special one time price and applies to our facilities only. In home lessons available at a higher rate and not discounted.
In-Home lessons are available on a limited basis upon availability. Contact us for rates.
Drop-Ins are on a limited basis, contact us for availability. Regular drop in’s may be reserved.
10% Discounts are given for multiple dogs in same family.
We love referrals! For each referral of a new student that signs up for any lesson package, the person referring will get 1 FREE group Class!
Please clean up after your dog.
Students are expected to help set up/take down equipment as needed. If you are in the first of last class at a temporary location, please volunteer to help set up or tear down.
All dogs must have proof of rabies vaccine, and sign our registration and release forms, no exceptions.
Please be courteous of other students; if a student is in the ring receiving instruction please wait until after class to speak to Melinda; Students are paying for their time, interruptions are distracting. Melinda is happy to chat with you and give advice when not instructing (She is always available by email).
Be polite and nice to your dogs! No harsh corrections or loud abusive behavior will be tolerated.
Please do NOT come to class if you are ill, have been around someone who is ill or are not 100%! Please allow at least 5 days after an illness after you come back to class *let us know we will work with you.
